My Favorite Salmon Recipe

Updated: 7 days ago

Salmon with cilantro on a white plate, drizzled with sauce. Lime and cutlery in the background.

Salmon is a great source of vitamin D, E, B12, selenium and many B vitamins. This is my favorite salmon recipe, “Citrusy Salmon with Ginger and Cilantro”, from Dr. Aviva Romm’s, The Replenish Cookbook.

Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1-pound wild caught salmon

  • 2 limes

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 tsp. good quality salt

  • ½ tsp. fresh grated ginger

  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro

  • 2 tsp. maple syrup

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Place your salmon on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  3. Mix together the juice of the limes, olive oil, salt, and

  4. grated ginger, and if you’re using it, honey or maple syrup

  5. Pour over the top of your salmon.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes (I actually bake it in less time)

  7. Remove from oven and top with chopped cilantro and an extra

  8. squeeze of lime juice. Enjoy!
