Yoga Classes

​In my group yoga classes we move slowly and mindfully while connecting individual asanas (postures) with the breath.  The movements are fluid, yet gentle.  Slow, mindful yoga is beneficial for everyone, but particularly those living with chronic pain, fatigue, other physical limitations, anxiety, depression, and high stress.  The research shows that slow, mindful yoga improves nervous system function by decreasing sympathetic activity (fight or flight) and increasing parasympathetic activity (rest and digest); decreases stress hormones; improves immune system function; reduces fatigue; can build strength; and slows breathing down which reduces anxiety and builds resistance to outside stressors. 

Yoga in the Park

There's nothing like doing yoga outdoors!  By practicing outside, you get to be a part of nature. All that time cooped up in your home or office isn't healthy for your mind and body.  Spending time in nature is a natural mood enhancer. It also helps you to feel more connected to the natural world.
 

If you're in the Rio Rancho, NM area, come join us on Thursdays at 9:00 am at Haynes Park (southwest corner), beginning June 6th. Bring your mat and any other props you'll need. Classes are donation-based, so tip what you'd like.  It's a large park, so if you can't find us, text me at 505-980-3679.  

Gentle Yoga

A virtual  60-min. gentle yoga session, ideal for those with pain and/or chronic conditions.  Classes are held on Mondays @ 5:30 pm MT.  We'll use yoga props to support us in the poses; but if you don't have any, bring pillows, towels, and blankets instead. You may also bring an eye pillow and your favorite essential oil for Savasana (Corpse Pose).  Donation-based class; Venmo: @Jeannine-Love; or Paypal: paypal.me/jlovehealth.   

Gentle Flow Yoga

Indoor yoga class
A virtual  60-min. gentle, flowing yoga class. In this class, the movements are fluid, yet gentle, so it's ideal for those with a chronic condition; but everyone can benefit from this class.  If needed, you may use yoga props to support yourself in the poses.  Class runs every Friday at 8:00 am (MT). Private Yoga Session

Private yoga session

A virtual session for one or two people, who would like a custom session to address specific needs, such as strength, flexibility, or stress reduction.  $60 for a 60-minute class.

Therapeutic Yoga

A private, therapeutic session ideal for those with chronic illness or injury, limited mobility, an autoimmune disease, or for those recovering from surgery.  Your session is devised to address your specific needs; and may also incorporate energy healing, or bodywork (in-person sessions).  Props such as pillows, bolsters, and/or blankets may be used to support your body.  $70 for a 60-minute session.
