Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is highly revered in Ayurvedic (India) medicine as a longevity and vitality tonic.  It’s used for deep exhaustion, to improve sleep, relive anxiety, improve memory and learning, to relax muscles, reduce inflammation; and it is a mild pain reliever.  If you’re sensitive to nightshade plants, use it cautiously or avoid it altogether.  These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Ashwagandha Root Tincture, 1 oz.

  • Take 1/2-1 tsp. 2-3 times daily.  You may add the drops to tea, water or juice if you don't like the taste of tinctures.
